BBTB2 - Happy Easter (Bunny)

Today over at BBTB2 we are in full Easter swing

with a challenge all about Bunnies!

We want you to feature a bunny on your projects!

I decided to use the adorable little bunny from Kate's ABC's.

I used polka dot papers for all my cuts and I LOVE how it turned out.

The background mat was embossed with

The Paper Studio's Curl Ribbon.

The sentiment is from a Fiskars Holiday stamp set.

I embellished it with some pearls from Recollections.

BBTB2 - Frame It!

I absolutely love Elegant Edges and this cart

has some amazing frames on it.

I decided to keep my card simple this go around

by just framing my pattern paper because it is so cute!

The paper comes from My Mind's Eye Reunion.

The paper flowers are from Studio G

as well as the stamp.

My card size is 5x5 and the frame is cut at 4 3/4,

with the shadow feature as well.

So how many of you have known about the Tag feature

on Walk In My Garden and not told me about it?!?!

I LOVE this feature!!!

There are such CUTE tags on the cartridge!

And in fact, once I made this tag, I thought it

would make a fabulous bookmark, too!

So, our amazing leader, Evelyn suggested when you

give a book as a present, you use this as both the

tag and the bookmark - LOVE it!!!

BBTB2 - Luck of the Irish

Welcome to another challenge over at BBTB2!

The lovely Maureen has challenged us

to get our Irish on!

St. Patrick's Day is tomorrow, so let's celebrate

by using a shamrock on your cards or projects!

I found a sketch from Mojo Monday that I really liked

and thought it would be perfect for a

Monochromatic Card.

I used a bunch of my green and white scraps,

a perfect way to use those up :)

The shamrock comes from Designer's Calendar.

I really do love this cartridge!

The stamp is from CardzTV "Happy Days".

I love this stamp set too :)

Added a bit of bling in the corner and

called it complete!

BBTB2 - Birdcage

Happy Monday!

Another start of another week :)

Hope you are all well and adjusting to Daylight Savings!

Today over at BBTB2 we have a new

challenge starting. We want to see you use

a birdcage on your projects.

I decided to use the Songbird cartridge for this challenge.

I don't use this cart that often, but found this cut under the

Perch Creative Feature and thought it would work well.

I cut it at 4" out of some shimmery gold cardstock.

My pattern papers are from American Crafts.

I did use Elegant Edges for my mat.

The Pearls are from Recollections.

My Project:

For my project today, I decided to use a kite and

add an Action Wobble for the moving component.

My card base is 5x5 white cardstock.

The kite comes from Nate's ABC's, cut at 3"

The pattern paper is from Fancy Pants Designs

6x6 Paper Pad "Park Bench".

I used Enamel Dots from Recollections.

My sentiment stamp comes from CardzTV "This N That" set.

Decorate To Celebrate - Wood Shamrocks

Happy Wednesday!

Hope your week is going well :)

Today over at Decorate To Celebrate

it's time for another Anything Goes Challenge.

And now that March is here and St. Patrick's Day is nearing,

I wanted to create another Home Decor piece for this

festive holiday...

My friend does wood cutouts and she had these 3 shamrocks cut out for me.

I painted them with some watered down brown acrylic paint for a "stained" look.

Used Mod Podge to adhere the fun pattern paper from The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby)

and then inked around all the edges with some brown chalk ink.

Easy Peasy!
